Customers sometimes want their bundles to appear on other sales channels, such as Facebook and Instagram, or in a product feed for Google Shopping or ads. This article explains what to expect.
The Biscuits bundle builder is a Shopify theme app block, so the interactive builder only renders on your Shopify online store. It cannot display inside a product feed or on another sales channel, because those places show plain product listings, not an interactive builder.
Remember that a bundle checks out as its component products. The bundle "parent" is a container that holds the customer's selections and pricing, so on other channels and in feeds it does not behave like a normal single product.
Bundles are a native Shopify feature, and Shopify decides where they can be sold. A few of its documented limitations explain the behaviour above:
Bundles require the Online Store sales channel or a custom storefront. This is a Shopify eligibility requirement, so a bundle works on your online store but not as a standard purchasable product on other channels. See Shopify: bundle eligibility requirements.
Bundles do not support import, export, or bulk editing. Product feeds are built from bulk product data, so bundle products do not flow into them the way standard products do. See Shopify: considerations for product bundles.
At checkout, a bundle is expanded into its component products. Those components are what any connected channel or feed ultimately records. See Shopify Product Bundles.
For the channels themselves, see Shopify's Google & YouTube channel and Facebook & Instagram (Meta) channel guides.
Because a bundle product is a bundle container rather than a standard product, it may not publish or behave normally on the Meta channel, and the channel option can appear greyed out for it. If you want to promote bundles on Meta, the reliable approach is to advertise a standard product or a landing page that links to your bundle on your online store, where the builder works.
The same applies to feeds. Feeds expect standard purchasable products, and a bundle is made up of components. For Google Shopping or ads, promote the component products or a standard product, and link customers through to your bundle page on your online store to build and buy.
The bundle builder needs your Shopify online store to work.
Other channels and feeds see the component products, not a single bundle item.
To advertise a bundle elsewhere, drive customers to the bundle's page on your online store.
