Settings for screen readers to assist with ADA and WCAG guidelines

Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

Biscuits Bundles has settings to help make your store more accessible to customers using screen readers.

These settings allow you to provide clear, descriptive, and structured content in your local language that announces to screen readers.

Customising accessibility settings

Changing these fields can greatly impact accessibility.

Avoid editing these fields unless localisation to your preferred language is required, and you have knowledge of how screen reader announcements work.

We highly recommend testing thoroughly after adjusting these values.

To customise these settings:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the app.

  2. Scroll to the Default content section.

  3. Locate the Accessibility settings fields.

  4. Adjust the labels and messages to align with your store’s language and tone.

  5. Save your changes to apply them across your store.
