Accessing Biscuits Advanced Features
Preselect and Required products are advanced Biscuits Bundle features only available on Standard plans. If you would like access to these features in your app, go to billing in the Biscuits Bundle App and upgrade you plan to at least the Standard Plan.
If your Biscuits app is showing Preselect and Required as locked, you need to upgrade your plan
Preselected Products/Variants
Biscuits preselected products allow merchants to "pre" select which items they would like selected on page load for a bundle. These act like default selections on a bundle and can be unselected by customers.
FEATURES
Preselect can be set on a product level or a variant level. This will depend on which display type is selected on each step.
You can have as many preselected products as the Step Selection and Quantity Rules allow
Preselected default quantities is not available yet, but is a feature we will be releasing in the future

For this example we want to "preselect" a queen sized bed, as that is the most common choice by customers.
1. We tick preselect for the Queen variant in the Biscuits app, and hit save
2. Then we can view the bundle product on our store, the queen variant is set and the bed product is already selected.

For this example we have more than one preselected product.
1. We have "preselected" four options for step 1.
2. When we view the bundle product on our store, the step has all four selected for us.

For this example we have more than one preselected variant.
1. We have "preselected" three variants on step 2
2. When we view the bundle product on our store, the step has all three selected for us.

Required Products/Variants
Biscuits required products allow merchants to determine products that MUST be chosen on a step and can not be unselected by customers.
FEATURES
Required can be set on a product level or a variant level. This will depend on which display type is selected on each step.
You can have as many required products as the Step Selection and Quantity Rules allow
Sold out required products will cause the bundle to be unavailable
PRODUCT LEVEL
Required on product grid items will prevent customers from unselecting or setting the quantity to 0, customers will still be able to change the selected variant.
VARIANT LEVEL
Required on a variant grid item will prevent customers from unselecting or setting the quantity to 0.
Required default quantities is not available yet, but is a feature we will be releasing in the future

For this example we want to make the bed required, as this bundle will be for a bedroom set.
1. We tick required on the Bed product and choose the Queen size to be preselected, and hit save.
2. We view the bundle product on our store, the Queen variant is set and the bed product is required, trying to unselect the product wont work, and trying to change the quantity to 0 wont work.

For this example our required bed is completely out of stock.
1. We can see it is sold out in Biscuits app admin.
2. We view the bundle product on our store, bed is sold out. This makes the bundle product unavailable as a required product can not be included.
Bundle loads disabled as the required bed isn't available for selection.

For this example we want to make the Queen bed required, as this bundle will be for a bedroom set.
1. We tick required on the Bed product and choose the Queen size to be required, and hit save.
2. We view the bundle product on our store, the Queen variant is set and the bed product is required, trying to unselect the product wont work, and trying to change the quantity to 0 wont work.
