Show add to cart button

Biscuits Bundle Builder app block - using it's own add to cart button

Updated this week

Overview

Previously, the Biscuits Bundle Builder app block used your theme’s existing Add to cart button.

To support more advanced features, the app block now includes a setting to Show add to cart button, allowing the app to render its own button instead of relying on the theme.

This setting lets you:

  • Add the Biscuits Bundle Builder app block to any template and select which bundle product it displays.

  • Add multiple Biscuits Bundle Builder app blocks to the same template, each showing a different bundle.

  • (coming soon) Enable advanced features like localisation and full Shopify Markets support.

How the Add to Cart Button matches your theme

The app automatically checks your Shopify theme and applies matching styles so that the Add to cart button looks consistent with your theme’s buttons.

We’re continuously expanding theme support.

However, if you’re using:

  • A custom, uploaded, or third-party theme, or

  • A theme not listed on the official Shopify Theme Store,

you may notice that the button’s style doesn’t perfectly match your theme.

If that happens, please reach out to our support team - we can help with a quick custom setup to make sure your Add to cart button looks right.

When to use the 'Show Add to Cart Button' setting

Recommendation: turn this setting on in most cases.

Only leave it off when you are placing the app block inside the Product information area on the bundle product’s own product template and your theme’s native Add to cart button already sits directly under the form.

Be sure to thoroughly test before going live.

Scenarios: show or hide

Turn it ON:

  • You are using the app block on a non-product template (for example, home page, landing page, blog page, CMS page, collection page). This is required for the bundle form to work.

  • You are using a regular product template but placing the app block as a full-width section and want the Add to cart button at the bottom of the form.

  • You are showing a bundle on a different product’s page, not on the bundle product’s own page.

Leave it OFF:

  • You are using a regular product template and placing the app block inside the Product information section where your theme already shows its own Add to cart button directly below the form.

How to know when to use it

If the app cannot find a working Add to cart button, the Biscuits Bundles app block will display an error message. When you see this message, enable the Show add to cart button setting and test again.

Testing checklist

  • After turning on the feature, add a test bundle to cart and confirm it appears in the cart with the correct selections.

  • If you see two buttons, turn off either the theme’s button or the app’s button so only one remains.

  • If the button style looks off, contact support. We can help match your theme’s style or provide a small CSS fix.
